Acclaimed performer David Gonzalez, shares the riches of Hispanic culture through his poetry and stories. The content of this presentation moves from ancient myths to personal sagas, to his own compelling poetry of a Latino determined to shape an authentic identity and creative life. David has a gift for communication and in this keynote he offers a fresh vision of contemporary Latino culture that is rooted in soulful mythology and poetic imagination.
David taught at NYU for ten years and has conducted numerous seminars, workshops and lectures at colleges and universities. | Workshop D: Jorledia Olivares, MA Psychiatric clinician for El Puente Program. Hoboken University Medical Center, earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and has presented internationally in cities of Mexico, Spain, Dominican Republic and United States with the focus of improving the quality of life. |
